After School and Lunch Clubs 

The school offers a variety of sport based clubs that run at different times throughout the year. Below is a list of sports clubs that are currently available for the autumn term.

All activities begin at 3.30 and finish at 4.30 apart from Computing Club which begins at 3.30 and finishes at 4.00. 

 

Multi-sports

 Key Stage 1 multi-sports club is held on Monday after school and is run by Ibo. The children will be able to develop a variety of skills and experience playing a lot of different games and sports.

Key Stage 2 boy’s multi-sports club for is held on Tuesday after school and is run by Ibo.  

Key Stage 2 girl’s multi-sports club for is held on Thursday after school and is run by Ibo.  

 

Football

 Key Stage 2 (Year 3-6) football club is held on a Wednesday after school and is also run by Ibo. The children will be able to develop their skills and play matches at the end of the training.

 

Netball

 Netball club on a Monday is for children in Years 3 and 4.

Netball club on a Tuesday is for children in Years 5 and 6.

It is run by Miss Makin. The children will have the opportunity to learn new skills and develop a school netball team.

 

Hockey

 Key Stage 2 hockey club is held on a Friday after school and is run by Ibo.

 

Computing Club 

 Thursday and Friday

Mr Fisher is running this club which will include Minecraft and will give the children opportunities to develop their Computing skills, incorporating a range of subjects.

Minecraft will be used as a learning tool which will be used to challenge the children and develop their logical skills.  

 

Lunch time sports and activities

 Throughout the week during lunch times, Ibo provides both Key Stage 1 and 2 an opportunity to play different sports but also gain the experience of learning a lot of games which include connect four, twister, learning how to use a yo-yo, bowling, juggling etc.

This also encourages team work and teaches children to look after equipment.

 

Keyboard Club

 Mr Fisher is also running a keyboard club this year, working with children from Key Stage 2:

Friday lunchtime

This will provide children with the opportunity to learn new skills and play an instrument.
