Welcome to Class 5/6B
Year Six is an important year for your child and you can help them get the most from this important year by ensuring that they are at school and on time whenever possible and that homework tasks and nightly reading are completed as they help to extend and build on the work done in class.
Key Stage Two statutory test week is from Monday 14th May to Friday 18th May 2018. Your child will be assessed on Arithmetic, two written Maths papers, Reading and Grammar, Spelling and Punctuation (GPS). The half termly newsletter informs you about the learning which will take place each half term. On the newsletter you will find out all about out PE days and topics we are covering. Please encourage you child and ask them questions related to their learning.

PLEASE ensure you read with your child as often as possible. Books will be changed twice a week on Monday and Friday.
Times Table Challenges will take place on Thursday afternoons. Please help your child learn their multiplication tables.
Maths homework needs to be returned by the following Tuesday.
Talk homework needs to be done every Thursday evening and returned to school the following day.
